This sweet little boy was only a couple of days old when I met him and he slept through almost the entire session. He only woke up for a few short minutes to pee on me, take a bottle and then return to sleep! Yes, I did catch his pee in my hand. It was either that or get it on my pants and I can easily wash my hands, so I went for the hand! Oh, the glamorous life of photographing newborns!!

Katie Ryan {Rockwall Newborn Photographer}

Katie Ryan is another one of my sweet friend's daughter. I have to say, she is the only baby I have photographed that stayed asleep almost the entire time (2 and a half hours!). No matter what position we put her in, or what we put her on, as long as that space heater was on her she was good to go! Her momma has a sweet five year old girl, so she had all the flowers, bows, and diapers covers anyone could imagine!

This trunk was Katie's great grandfathers. Anytime you have a piece of furniture or a prop that means something to you, tell me and I will make sure and use it.

Katie is the first baby who smiled for me. And not just once!

This is her older sister, Jalie. My Ella loves Jalie!

Skylar {Mckinney Newborn Photographer}

I have been sooo behind on updating my blog, but I am usually better about facebook. If you ever check here and see there hasn't been a post lately, odds are it is because I have added them to facebook, but then got busy chasing my precious two year old around and just plain forgot about my poor blog. I do have a link up on my website though so I should probably think about getting better at updating it!!

Enough about that, meet sweet Skylar. I always ask parents in the nicest way possible if their angel is a calm sleeper or a little more high-maintenance. Well, I didn't even have to ask Skylar's parents! They told me almost as soon as I walked in the door that she cried, a lot!

She wasn't too keen on not being held, but eventually we were her out and she fell asleep. And she might be a little more high maintenance, but she sure is precious!

Brodie {Dallas Newborn Photographer}

I got to meet Brodie last week when she was only a week old. When I arrived she was just snoozing away. She is just precious and didn't move a muscle for about the first 40 minutes. I love taking pictures of families and babies, but newborns just melt my heart!
